The residential building is located opposite a larger park in Lima. With the site location and the prisitine views, the brief was requesting luxury apartments, which maximize space and view. With the site being narrow yet deep, the design was aiming to maximize the views to the park, throughout the apartments, by carving into the volume, to generate deeper exterior spaces. The cuts will be partly covered by a transparent mesh, to give the volume back some unity and solidity. The deeper areas become open plan residential units, which meander between the bedrooms at the perimeter of the facade.
