The concept of the GOUTEL is a novel hotel concept for Hue: The hotel itself is providing rooms only, all public and commercial facilities are part of the development, but operated by different parties. Introducing a room-alone-hotel brand, it frees the podium of its monolithic character and allows the hotel to become an urban intervention rather. The design therefor aims, to increase the porosity on the lower floors by introducing small squares, alleys and lanes, which connect back to the urban fabric and merge on the upper floors into an efficient hotel typology.
