EAT

Located in the entertainment area of Seoul, the building is a transformation of an existing structure into a showcase and extension for the upcoming W-Hotel in Seoul. It incorporates a miniature version of the facilities of the hotel: Spa, Restaurant, Entertainment, Convention Center and Entertainment. The design aims to visualize the different functions by exposing them or hiding them through the extend of the window frame: The more public a program is, the closer the window to the perimeter of the site. The more private, the further away. As a result, long periscope windows demonstrate the spa on the top floors of the building, while the opening for the public programs is maximized.
