Located at San Li Tun, Beijing, the awarded 3LT project is designed, to maximize the urban experience of the site. With the absense of a larger scale, we were aiming, to fragment the urban block, to achieve a labyrinthian character, in which the user can discover and explore maximum spatial situations. 3LT is serving both, commercial users as well as entertainment seekers. With that target group, the project evolves as an outdoor village, combining the principles of a shopping mall and those of a folded boulevard, to create a balance between destination and wandering around.
